Before you start
- Add at least one destination — see Destinations & Custom RTMP.
- Allow camera, microphone and notifications when asked.
- Tap Go Live on Home.
The Go Live setup screen
- Source — camera, screen share, or a clip from your library.
- Title — required; it's sent to every platform that supports one. Add a description and hashtags if you like.
- Destinations — switch on the ones you want this time. Each shows whether it's connected and ready.
- Orientation — landscape or portrait. It's locked once you're live.
MiniStream checks your upload speed first. If it shows Connection looks slow, move closer to Wi-Fi or switch networks — streaming needs a steady upload.
While you're live
- See unified chat and reactions from every platform in one place (paid plans).
- Camera effects: beauty looks and background blur (paid plans).
- Press back or switch apps to minimize — the broadcast keeps running in a floating window or picture-in-picture.
- If the network drops, MiniStream reconnects automatically.
When you finish
Tap Stop. The summary shows how the broadcast did on each platform. Every broadcast is recorded on your phone while it runs — choose Save recording on the summary to keep it in your gallery, or it's discarded when you tap Done. Saved recordings can be turned into highlights.
Common questions
"Can't go live on …"
That destination needs attention — usually a sign-in to renew or live access the platform hasn't enabled. See Connected accounts.
Going live as someone else
If you're on a team, you'll see Go live as …. That broadcasts to the channel owner's destinations. See Team.
