person_add Why connect an account

Linking an account is what lets MiniStream act on your behalf: create the live broadcast with your title, post videos to your feed, read comments and chat, and show your analytics. You stay in control — MiniStream only works on channels you own and have authorized.

1. Open Settings → Connected accounts.
2. Tap a platform in the connect row at the top.
3. Sign in on the platform's own page and approve access.
4. You're returned to MiniStream with the account listed under Linked accounts.

You can link more than one account on the same platform — tap Add another account.

tune Live and posting, per channel

One login can cover several channels or Pages. For each one you choose:

• Go live — it becomes a streaming destination.
• Cross-post — it can receive posts from the feed composer.

Turning live off removes the matching streaming destination; you can switch it back on at any time.

"This connection expires in N days"

Platforms limit how long an authorization lasts. Tap Reconnect before it runs out so a stream isn't interrupted. Reconnecting repairs the existing destination — it doesn't create a duplicate.

"Live unavailable" / live locked

The platform itself isn't allowing this account to stream. Common reasons: YouTube requires live streaming to be enabled (which can take up to 24 hours the first time); Facebook requires a Page or profile to meet its eligibility rules. Tap the locked item to see the reason. Posting usually still works while live is locked.

link_off Unlinking

Unlinking stops MiniStream posting or streaming to that account and removes its streaming destinations. You can instead choose Keep as Custom RTMP to keep streaming with the current key without a linked account. You can reconnect any time.
