Branding

Put your logo on every broadcast and add lower thirds, tickers and sponsor cards.

auto_awesome What branding does

Branding is drawn straight into the video before it leaves your phone, so every platform you stream to shows exactly the same thing. There is nothing to set up on YouTube, Twitch or anywhere else — set it once in MiniStream and it goes out everywhere.

It applies to broadcasts from your camera and to pre-recorded clips, including scheduled ones.

Free broadcasts always carry a small MiniStream mark. Any paid plan replaces it with your own logo, or with nothing at all.

image Adding your logo

  1. Open Settings → Branding and stay on the Logo tab.
  2. Tap Your logo and pick an image. A PNG with a transparent background looks best.
  3. Choose a Position — one of the four corners.
  4. Adjust Opacity (10–100%) and Size while you watch the preview.
  5. Tap Save branding.

The preview at the top of the screen is what your viewers will see. Use the aspect-ratio picker beneath it to check how the logo sits on a landscape and a portrait broadcast.

Don't want any logo? On a paid plan, choose No logo and your broadcasts go out clean.

layers Overlays (Pro and Agency)

The Overlays tab adds on-screen graphics to your broadcast:

  • Lower third — your name and a role or handle along the bottom of the frame.
  • Ticker — short messages shown one at a time. Anything too long for the strip scrolls across, and you can set the scroll speed.
  • Sponsor card — a logo and label for a sponsor or partner.
  • QR / donation — a scannable code for a link such as a tip jar or store. Keep the link short; a long URL makes a dense code that is harder to scan.

Tap a card to edit it — it lights up on the preview while it is open. Each overlay can be switched on or off without deleting it, so you can keep a set ready for different shows.

If your plan changes, your saved overlays are kept. They simply stop being drawn until overlays are available on your plan again.

movie A different logo for one video

When you edit a pre-recorded clip you can give that one video its own logo. The editor shows Using a custom logo for this video when it has one, or Using your branding logo when it follows your saved branding.

My logo isn't on the stream

Check that you tapped Save branding — leaving the screen without saving discards changes. Also check your plan: on Free, the MiniStream mark is always used instead.

Does branding change my recordings on the platforms?

Yes. Because the logo is part of the video itself, it stays on the replay or VOD that each platform saves.
