Scheduling

Plan streams ahead, repeat them as a series, and let clips air on their own.

A camera can't switch itself on, so a scheduled camera stream sends you a reminder at the time and opens Go Live when you tap it.

add_alarm Scheduling a stream

  1. Open Settings → Schedule and tap the add button.
  2. Pick the clip (or camera) and set a date and time.
  3. Add a title, description and tags.
  4. Under Stream to, pick your destinations.
  5. Save. The stream appears on the planner.

When the clip is Stored in the cloud, the row says Runs from the cloud — this phone isn't needed.

campaign Announcing it on the platforms

For connected accounts, MiniStream can create the event on the platform so your audience knows in advance:

  • YouTube — an “Upcoming” broadcast that notifies subscribers.
  • Facebook — a scheduled live post with a follower reminder.
  • Twitch — an event on your channel's schedule.
  • Vimeo — a scheduled event.

Deleting the schedule also removes the platform event.

repeat Series and loops

Repeat a stream every so many days or weeks to create a series; the times keep their cadence when you edit the whole series. You can also loop a clip several times in one broadcast — the planner shows the total time on air.

notifications_active Make sure it fires

Keep notifications allowed for MiniStream. On some phones, also allow alarms & reminders and set battery use to unrestricted so the system doesn't hold the stream back when the app is closed.

help_outline Common questions

"Missed — you can still start it"

The time passed without the stream starting (for example, the phone was off and the clip wasn't in the cloud). Tap it to start now.

Can I change destinations after scheduling?

Not on an existing schedule. Delete it and schedule again with the destinations you want.
